Our Banking and Capital Markets Advisory practice are seeking a Manager to strengthen our Banking offering in the Montreal office. We are looking for curious and motivated professionals who have demonstrated their ability to motivate a team and deliver exceptional, focused customer service.
What you will do
As a Senior Manager in our Banking and Capital Markets Advisory practice, you will use your strong business acumen and be a key member of a high performing team. You'll have the opportunity to learn from banking industry service specialists and improve your skills through the following activities:
Fluency in written and spoken French is essential. Knowledge of English, as it involves interpreting standards, guidelines, laws and regulations in both languages. It also involves providing services to both French- and English-speaking clients and collaborating with colleagues inside and outside Quebec and Canada.

What you will do
As a Senior Manager in our Banking and Capital Markets Advisory practice, you will use your strong business acumen and be a key member of a high performing team. You'll have the opportunity to learn from banking industry service specialists and improve your skills through the following activities:
- You will improve your coaching and feedback skills by providing your team with guidance and mentoring, as well as supporting our open feedback culture.
- You will support assignment management and ensure the delivery of high-quality services to customers on time and on budget.
- You will dedicate your knowledge and skills to all client -focused activities and projects, while leading c lient engagements.
- You will participate in client prospecting and the preparation of service offerings, with the support of senior management, and work with KPMG leaders to implement thought leadership, white papers and other intellectual assets.
- You will develop your reputation as a trusted advisor and seasoned specialist.
- You will leverage your solid knowledge of banking services.
- You will conduct c lient workshops and staff interviews. You will adhere to our high-quality standards to meet and exceed customer expectations.
- U ndergraduate or postgraduate degree in Management/Business Administration, Engineering, Business Information/Technology, Finance, Public Administration or Data Sciences ) .
- 8+years of experience in consulting and or banking services ( Required ).
- Experience in planning and tracking projects, comfortable to work with executive stakeholders and have superior communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and define problems and develop creative solutions to address client requirements clearly and articulately.
- Proficient in the Microsoft office suite, particularly in Microsoft PowerPoint .
- Ability to work independently while demonstrating a collaborative and supportive spirit.
- Sense of responsibility in the execution of their work, motivation to achieve their full potential and understanding of the importance of human relations (c lients , future c lients , their communities, and the global firm).
- Open to learning and discovering new sectors and business functions.
