Our mission is to keep food where it belongs: On plates and out of landfills.

 The Role

The Non-Profit Audit Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and conducting assessments of our non-profit partner network to ensure compliance with Second Harvest’s terms and conditions. Reporting to the Community Success Manager, this position will conduct preliminary background research on non-profit locations within our network, schedule calls or meetings with the partners, and conduct assessments, capturing all information within our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.

We are looking for a hard-working professional with a high degree of tact and diplomacy, while at the same time possessing strong attention to detail.

  • Oversee compliance audit of 5% of Second Harvest’s non-profit partner locations to collect user feedback and ensure adherence to our terms and conditions.
  • Conduct preliminary research on non-profit locations before each audit, completing required paperwork and updating CRM records; identify missing information that needs to be captured during the assessment.
  • Schedule audit calls or meetings with each partner location, serving as a representative of the organization; conduct audits as per established procedures and guidelines, ensuring all information is recorded.
  • Track all data within our CRM platform by documenting all transactions, including dates of assessments, contact information, and feedback gathered; work within the CRM to gather insights and determine recommendations based on information gathered.
  • Complete any follow-up actions to the audits as required; work in collaboration with the National Operations department to provide recommendations based on audit information.
